Virginia Tech on Monday hired Cardinals linebackers coach Sam Siefkes to be the Hokies' defensive coordinator, the school announced, and Arizona coach Jonathan Gannon lauded the move, saying Siefkes "has unbelievable knowledge on how to stop offenses."
